For students to design and test a container for shipping a single Pringles potato chip through the US Postal Service. Students at St. John's in Elliville, Missouri and Concordia in San Antonio, Texas will exchange packages with each other. Upon arrival, the packages will be evaluated by both classes over a Skype call and scored.
Goal:
To engineer the package to have the smallest expense to produce and ship the potato chip so that it is protected and arrives at its destination undamaged.

Guidelines:
Students must
Use only materials listed (and all materials need to be provided by each group).
Calculate volume, surface area, and mass for their container and post this information (in cubic centimeters, square centimeters, and grams)
List all materials and itemized cost of all materials.
Work with their group in Math/Science classes during the week of February 22nd.
Be prepared to ship their chip on Monday, March 1st.
